A man is seriously injured in hospital after allegedly being assaulted by a masked trio in Wishaw.
Police say the 37-year-old was attacked within a premises on Abernethyn Road in the North Lanarkshire town at around 10.50pm on Wednesday April 8.
The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing and face coverings.
Emergency services attended, and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable David McLaughlin said: “This was a terrifying incident for the man involved who sustained significant injuries.
“We are gathering CCTV footage from in and around the area, and I’d appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch.
“Similarly, I’d also ask those with private CCTV, doorbell footage or drivers with dash-cams to please check to see if you have captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
