A man has suffered serious injuries after being attacked by a gang of youths in Paisley.
Officers were called to reports of a man being attacked by a group of six youths, including boys and girls ranging from 14 to 16 years old, on Smithhills Street around 9pm on Sunday.
Emergency services attended and a 32-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Constable Victoria Smillie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident, and we are appealing for the assistance of the public.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone with any private CCTV or dash-cam footage to contact us.”
