Man taken to hospital after being assaulted outside pub

A man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted outside a pub on Glasgow’s Dumbarton Road.

Emergency services were called to an incident outside the Deoch An Dorus pub at around 4.30pm on Sunday.

A man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said enquiries remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.30pm on Sunday, March 1, 2026, we received a report of an assault which happened at Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.

“One man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
