A man has been taken to hospital after he was found “seriously injured” on a street in Glasgow.
Officers attended the scene on Monday around 3.45am after receiving reports of an injured man on Carfrae Street near Yorkhill Street, Glasgow.
The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital via ambulance where his condition has been described as “serious but stable”.
It has not yet been confirmed the nature of the incident, with police stating that enquiries are “ongoing”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.45am on Monday, April 8, 2024, police received a report that a man had been found seriously injured on Carfrae Street near Yorkhill Street, Glasgow.
“He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains for treatment. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
