A man has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in a “targeted” incident in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian on at the junction of Ashgill Road and Ashgill Place.
The incident happened at 6.55pm on Monday.
The 22-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a car and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Officers believe the incident was “targeted” but said there is no wider threat to the public.
Ashgill Road was closed overnight and reopened on Tuesday morning.
Enquiries are ongoing, and a police presence will remain in the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Anyone with any concerns, or information, can approach these officers.
