A man has been taken to hospital following a disturbance involving a “number of people” outside a pub in Glasgow.

Police were called to Duke Street around 3.20pm on Sunday following the incident near the Bristol Bar.

Officers cordoned off the area between Cumbernauld Road and Carntyne Road while traffic was diverted away from the scene.

One man was taken to hospital, and investigations are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: We were made aware of a disturbance involving a number of people on Duke Street in Glasgow shortly after 3.20pm on Sunday, September 13.

“One man has been taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing.”
