A man has been taken to hospital after an assault on a Glasgow street.

Emergency services were called to Allison Street and Annette Street after reports of man being assaulted at around 7.50am on Sunday.

A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not known.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances and to trace those involved

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are being carried out in the Allison Street and Annette Street areas of Glasgow following a report made around 7.50am on Sunday, August 30, 2026, of a man assaulted.

“A 41-year-old man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and enquiries are continuing to gather more information on the circumstances and trace those involved.”
