iStockA man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Glasgow’s city centre.
Emergency services were called to Cathedral Square at around 7.15pm on Monday following reports of a serious assault.
An injured 49-year-old man was taken to hospital following the attack.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation to establish the full circumstances is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.15pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, we received a report of a 49-year-old man having been seriously assaulted on Cathedral Square, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
Those with information are urged to call 101 quoting reference 2788 of November 24.
