Google MapsA man has been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Greenock.
The incident happened in the East Shaw Street area at around 8.30pm on Friday.
Police confirmed a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital.
The force is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
Detective inspector Gordon Smith said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3760 of November 22, 2024.
“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
