A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in Dumfries on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the Lochside Road area at around 9.50pm after they were alerted to the attack.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, however, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50pm on Friday, February 13, 2026, officers received a report of the serious assault of a man on Lochside Road, Dumfries.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
