Police are hunting for a man who shot a BB gun during an attempted robbery at a supermarket in Glasgow.
A man entered the store on Westmuir Street at around 3.30am on Wednesday, March 25, and demanded money from the till before firing the weapon at a member of staff.
Police say no serious injuries have been reported and nothing was stolen.
The man made off heading east along Westmuir Street near its junction with Sorby Street.
The suspect is described as being white, around 5ft 7in tall and of slim build.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a face covering, a black hoody and black trousers.
Detective sergeant Peter Chatham said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of this incident and tracing the person responsible.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and witnessed what happened to please contact us.
“In addition, we are asking members of the public to check CCTV and dash-cam footage as this may hold something relevant.”
