A manhunt has been launched after a woman was raped in a lane at Clyde Place in Glasgow.
The incident happened at around 1am on Sunday, near the Barclays Bank campus on the south bank of the River Clyde.
Police are searching for a man who is described as black, with dreadlock styled hair, wearing a black coloured tracksuit and who spoke with a London accent.
Detective Inspector Shirley Coyle said: “This was an extremely distressing incident for the victim and it’s imperative we identify and trace the man responsible.
“I would urge anyone with any information to come forward and assist our investigation.
“I’d would ask drivers with dash-cams or residents with private CCTV or doorbell cameras to check your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.
“There is an increased police presence in the area and reassurance patrols will be carried out.”
