Police hunting man seen exposing himself on rural road in Carluke

Police are searching for a man who indecently exposed himself on a remote road in Carluke.

Officers were called following the incident on Station Road, at the junction of Milton Road, around 10.45am on Sunday.

The suspect is described as white and in his 20s, with dark hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a dark cap, long sleeve top and dark joggers.

Investigations to trace a white Volkswagen Golf or Polo seen near the scene are ongoing.

Sergeant Stewart McDonald said: “This incident took place on a remote unclassified road, and extensive enquiries are ongoing to identify the man involved.

“A white Volkswagen Golf or Polo was seen near to where the incident took place, and we are asking anyone who was in the surrounding area at the time who noticed anything suspicious, or who may have dashcam footage of significance, to please get in touch.”
