A manhunt is still ongoing a week after a pensioner was stabbed in a car near a primary school in Glasgow.
Police, including armed officers, descended on Auckland Wynd at around 12.10pm on April 28 following reports of a serious assault.
A 77-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The area was taped off as part of the investigation, and officers were seen taking photos inside and around a stationary Mercedes vehicle
Police Scotland has confirmed that investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 12.10pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, we received a report of a serious assault within a vehicle on Auckland Wynd in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a 77-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Officers remain in the area, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
