A man’s body was recovered from the River Clyde in Glasgow on Tuesday.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident near Pacific Quay at around 11am.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is at an early stage and formal identification has not taken place.

A report is due to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, police were made aware of the body of a man being recovered from the River Clyde, near the Pacific Quay area of Glasgow.

“Enquiries are at a very early stage and formal identification is yet to take place.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
