iStockStrong winds are forecast as Storm Bert continues to batter parts of Scotland on Monday.
A yellow weather warning for wind has been put in place by the Met Office as Scots warned of potential travel disruption.
Forecasters have predicted gusts of 50 to 60mph, with exposed areas being hit by 70mph winds.
The warning, which is in place from 12am to 10am, covers the west coast, the Highlands, Strathclyde and Tayside.
The Met Office state that “delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely.”
They have also warned that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities could face spray or large waves.
CalMac announced that sailings from Lars, Gourock, Wemyss Bay, Tayinloan have been all been either suspended or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
The Met Office said: “As Storm Bert moves east across the north of Scotland, a further spell of very strong winds will move east to affect parts of western, central and northern Scotland.
Gusts of 50-60 mph are likely and as much as 70 mph near western coasts and on exposed bridges.”
