Missing Birmingham man who disappeared a week ago 'may have travelled to Scotland'

A missing man who disappeared from Birmingham a week ago may have travelled to Scotland, police have revealed.

Officers believe Jan Hussain travelled to the south-east area of Glasgow on March 25. It is thought the 30-year-old may have been in the Croftfoot Road area.

He is described as around 5ft 7in, with shoulder-length brown hair, and of medium build. When last seen, Jan was wearing brown trousers and a grey T-shirt.

Inspector Derek Gibson said: “Enquiries to trace Jan are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

“Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2424 of March 30, 2026.”
