Police ScotlandA motorcyclist who died following a bike crash in Dumfries and Galloway has been named.
Emergency services were called to the A7 between Middleholm and Skippers Bridge following reports of a collision at around 2.35pm on Sunday.
Thomas Edgar was airlifted to hospital, but died before arriving.
Inspector Bob McNay said: “Our thoughts are with Thomas’ family and friends at this difficult time”.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information or dashcam footage should contact police on 101 quoting incident 1724 of November 15.”
