Emergency services have been called after two cars and a van were involved in a crash on the M8 on Wednesday evening in Glasgow.
Shortly after 7.30pm, Traffic Scotland reported that two lanes at Junction 26 on the major motorway had been closed due to the crash and that police and emergency services were at the scene.
In an update shortly before 8pm, it said that eastbound traffic was running on the hard shoulder while the lane was restricted, with motorists facing delays of around 15 minutes.
One lane westbound remains closed due to debris but there are no significant delays.
It is not known if there are any injuries as a result of the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The M8 eastbound is closed prior to Junction 26 with traffic passing on the hard shoulder following a crash involving a van and two cars around 7.25pm.
“Lane three westbound is also closed with traffic able to pass in lanes one and two. Driver are asked to avoid the area.”
