Three hillwalkers had to be rescued after getting lost on mountains during extreme weather conditions.
Mountain rescue crews spent a total of eight hours on the hills assisting the lost walkers on Saturday evening.
At around 3.50pm, the police requested the assistance of Lomond Mountain Rescue Team (LMRT) in tracing an individual who had become lost on Ben Lomond.
The walker was successfully found in extremely wet and windy conditions and was walked to safety by LMRT.
As this incident concluded, a second callout on Ben Venue was reported and the assistance of the LMRT was again requested.
Two hillwalkers had become lost whilst descending through the Ledard Glen area of Ben Venue.
The pair were traced and were walked to safety at around 11.45pm on Saturday night.
Mountain volunteers spent a total of eight hours on the hills in adverse weather conditions conducting the rescue missions.
The second incident was the 39th call out for LMRT this year making it the busiest year for the team in its 53-year history.
