Scots actor Gary Hollywood will stand trial accused of drink driving.

The 47-year-old allegedly carried out the crime in Glasgow’s Bellahouston on October 26, 2025.

Hollywood is best known for starring as Dino Doyle in the BAFTA-winning show Mrs Brown’s Boys between 2004 and 2020.

Hollywood also played Dominic Dunbar in Scottish soap Take the High Road.

Court papers state that Hollywood, of the city’s Cathcart, was behind the wheel of a silver Land Rover.

It is claimed that he had 115 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 22 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Hollywood denies the single charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

A hearing was administratively adjourned to trial towards the end of the months.
