An investigation has been launched after multiple vehicles, including a horsebox, were stolen during a “crime spree” in Dumfries and Galloway.
The break-ins were reported at private and commercial premises on Oakwell Road, Shawhead and Racks Road between August 27 and 28.
A white pick-up vehicle, a silver 4×4 and a grey and black horsebox were among the stolen items.
Police said the suspects are believed to have travelled along the A75, between Castle Douglas and Annan, and the Low Road, between Dumfries and Annan, throughout the night.
They are urging anyone with information regarding the thefts to come forward.
Detective constable Rachael Houston, CID, Dumfries said: “This was a significant crime spree and it’s imperative we catch those responsible.
“If you were in the area of any of the break-ins or may have seen the vehicles in the vicinity, please get in touch with police.
“We’d be keen to hear from anyone who saw people or vehicles acting suspiciously around the affected areas.
“I’d also ask anyone with dashcam footage to please review it and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
