A killer has admitted murdering a man by shooting him with a shotgun on a street in Glasgow.
Malcolm McNee, 62, shot John McGregor, 44, in Glasgow’s Milton on August 26, 2021.
McNee pursued him before firing the shotgun on Westray Street, court papers stated.
Mr McGregor later succumbed to his injuries at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital two days later.
On Wednesday, McNee pled guilty – through his lawyer John Brannigan – to murder before he was due to stand trial at the High Court in Glasgow.

He also admitted a separate charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
McNee is said to have set fire to a Vauxhall Corsa car involved in the murder at Carbeth Huts in Blanefield, Stirlingshire on the same day.
He was joined in the dock by co-accused Reece Trainer.
The 25-year-old’s KC Thomas Ross pled guilty to having a firearm on the day and location of the murder on his behalf.
Trainer also admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice by boarding a flight to Alicante, Spain, the day after the murder.
He is then said to have flown to “elsewhere or Mexico” on September 9, 2021.
Trainer had his not-guilty plea to a charge of murder accepted by the Crown.
Both will return to court to be sentenced at a later date.
