Investigators have received new evidence which suggests a Scottish man, who disappeared in Northumbria more than 20 years ago, was attacked.
CCTV shows Robert Scott Clive, also known as Scott, walking towards the Coronation Street area of North Shields at around 11pm on October 10, 2002.
Following initial inquiries, a murder investigation was launched. However, his body has never been found.
After a recent appeal, detectives received information which suggests the then 30-year-old was attacked moments after reaching Coronation Street.
Earlier this year police arrested two men – in their 40s and 50s – and a woman in her 40s on suspicion of murder.
The trio were released on bail pending further inquiries.

His family is encouraging people to come forward if they have answers which could “end the heartbreak”.
The family said: “We will never give up or stop searching for answers as we need closure to end the years of pain we have endured for so long.
“We just want to know what happened to our Scott.”
They added: “We would ask anyone who does have information about Scott’s disappearance to please come forward – no matter how small you think it may seem.
“You could hold the key to us finding out what happened to him and help bring some peace to our family.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who continue to support us.”
