A mural celebrating James McAvoy’s new movie has been unveiled in Glasgow.
California Schemin’, the Scots-born actor’s directorial debut, will be released in cinemas across the UK on Friday, April 10.
The impressive artwork on East Campbell Street, across from the Barrowland Ballroom, depicts the film’s protagonists, Scottish rap duo Silibil N’ Brains.
California Schemin’ is based on the story of Dundee rappers Gavin Bain and Billy Boyd, who secured a record deal in the early 2000s by pretending to be American.
The mural, which was revealed on Tuesday, also includes the tagline ‘Get Rich or Try Lyin’.
California Schemin’ was screened at the Glasgow Film Festival on Sunday, March 8.
