Plans for new shops, restaurants and a cinema have been given the green light.
The £100m Glasgow Harbour Lifestyle Outlet will be built on land bordered by the River Clyde and River Kelvin.
A new bridge will connect the shopping centre with the Riverside Museum.
It will feature more than 70 shops, a 12-screen cinema, a gym, a five-storey car park and around ten food and drink venues.
Developer Peel L&P runs similar retail parks in Manchester, known as the Lowry Outlets, and at Gloucester Quays.
