An off-road biker is fighting for his life in hospital following a crash with a car in Paisley.
The collision between an orange off-road bike and a grey Vauxhall Corsa happened in Foxbar Road at the junction with Glennifer Road around 9.45pm on Saturday, September 12.
Emergency services attended and the 19-year-old male bike rider was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with life-threatening injuries. His condition is described as serious.
The car driver, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to hospital to be checked over.
Sergeant Scott Gourlay said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
“In particular we are keen to speak to the rider of another orange off road bike who was present at the time of the crash as they may have vital information that could assist with our investigation.
“If you were driving in the area around the time please check any dash-cam footage to see if something has been captured that could assist officers.”
