Police ScotlandA pensioner has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a pickup truck crashed on the A74 near Lockerbie.
The collision involving the silver Toyota Hilux happened near the B7076 overbridge around 4.20pm on Saturday.
The driver, a 79-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sergeant Colin Ramage said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything around the time to contact us.
“In addition, anyone with dash-cam footage which captured anything of relevance is asked to get in touch as this may be able to assist.”
