A pensioner is to stand trial accused of historical abuse at a children’s home.
Peter Harley, 76, denies the allegations which mainly involve two boys.
The offences are said to have occurred at Merkland Children’s Home in Moffat, Dumfries-shire between 1977 and 1982.
Harley, now of Cardiff, faces five charges which include lewd and libidinous behaviour as well as physical assault against the boys.
The case called for a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Harley’s QC Ian Duguid pled not guilty on his behalf.
Lady Scott set a trial due to begin next June in Edinburgh.
Harley remains on bail meantime.
