iStockA person has been arrested in connection with the death of a man found unresponsive on the street in Kilmarnock.
Police were called to reports of an unresponsive man on Orchard Street around 5.25pm on April 22.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 5.25pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, emergency services were called to reports of an unresponsive man on Orchard Street in Kilmarnock.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
