A person has been charged after a man was discovered injured on a Glasgow street.

Emergency services were called to Cornalee Place in the Pollok area at around 3.45pm on Wednesday after reports of an injured man.

The 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Forensic officers searched Aviemore Road in Mosspark, some three miles away, in connection with the incident.

A 43-year-old man has been charged and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.

“Around 3.45pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, we received a report a man had been injured on Cornalee Place in the Pollok area of Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, July 18, 2025.”
