British Transport Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at a train station.
Emergency services were called to Hamilton Central at around 4.28pm on October 22, following reports of a medical emergency.
Medical teams were also dispatched to assist, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the death is currently ongoing.
A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Hamilton Central railway station at 4.28pm Tuesday (October 22) to reports of a medical emergency.
“Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances leading up to their death.”
