A person has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a house in East Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a house fire at Speirs Road, Bearsden, at around 1.28pm on Tuesday.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two fire engines and firefighters extinguished the blaze affecting the two-storey property.
Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that one person was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.28pm on Tuesday, October 29 to reports of a house fire at Speirs Road, Bearsden.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a two-storey property.
“One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.43pm on October 29, to attend an incident on Speirs Road, Bearsden.
“An ambulance was dispatched, and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
