Police have closed down a street in Glasgow city centre due to an “ongoing incident”.
Glasgow City Council said from 10pm on Friday that Argyle Street has been closed from Union Street to Mitchell Street.
The nature of the incident is unknown at this time, but it is believed to be police-related.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the road and find an alternative route.
A Glasgow Council statement read: “Due to an ongoing Police incident, Argyle Street is currently closed from Union Street to Mitchell Street.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route.”
