No further police action will be taken following reports of a woman having been raped in Loch Lomond National Park.
The 32-year-old woman was reported to have been attacked at a public car park in Luss around 1am on September 27.
An extensive investigation was launched following the incident, with police urging a group of people who spoke to the victim to come forward.
Detectives say they have now completed all lines of inquiry and are content that no sexual crime occurred.
The force has thanked the public for coming forward with information.
Detective inspector Julie Clisby said: “We want to thank all of those who came forward with information and we are content that no sexual crime has occurred.
“Anyone who has been a victim of sexual crime can always contact police, we take every report seriously and will investigate thoroughly.”
