Police raids at properties in Dalmuir have recovered £25,800 in drugs and £35,000 in cash.

Officers executed warrants at two properties in relation to an ongoing investigation into serious and organised crime on Friday.

A quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of £25,000 and cannabis estimated to be worth £800 was found alongside £35,000 in cash.

Investigations into the discovery are ongoing.

Detective sergeant Barry Convery, from Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Division Serious and Organised Crime, said: “We are determined to protect the public from harmful criminality by disrupting the sale of illegal substances and preventing them from being circulated on the streets of our community.

“Information from the public is crucial to our work and we encourage anyone with information or concerns about drug-related activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101.
