Police investigating a rape at woodland in Argyll and Bute over a month ago are hunting for two men in connection.
Officers were notified on June 18 that a person had been raped at Dunollie Woods in Oban on Friday, May 15.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 5.30pm.
The first suspect is described as a man who is around 40 years old with a Middle Eastern appearance, and is around 6ft tall.
He is described as having a medium build, was clean-shaven at the time and was wearing a black leather jacket and red baseball cap.
The second suspect is described as a man, also around 40 years old, with a Middle Eastern appearance.
He was around 5ft 2in tall and of a larger build. At the time he was clean shaven and wearing a black tracksuit.
Detective Inspector Karen MacLennan said: “Following initial enquiries we now have more information and are appealing to the public for help.
“Anyone who has even the slightest piece of information that could assist our enquiries, please get in touch. Local policing officers have been carrying out additional patrols in the area and engaging with people. If you have any concerns or information, please speak to them.
“Anyone who may have captured men matching this description on dash cam or CCTV footage is also asked to contact us.
“I am aware of online commentary relating to this incident and I would like to directly address that with the information provided to us and clarified in this witness appeal as we continue our investigation.”
