© Google Maps 2025Police are investigating after a woman died in unexplained circumstances at a shopping centre in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to a premises at Shawlands Arcade at around 9.55am on Wednesday.
A 53-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.55am on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, officers were made aware of the death of a 53-year-old woman at a premises at Shawlands Arcade in Glasgow.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
