An investigation has been launched following a theft and disturbance at a Morrisons supermarket in West Dunbartonshire.
Police were called to the shop in the Glasgow Road area of Dumbarton after reports of robbery and a disturbance around 9pm on Wednesday.
There were said to be no serious injuries, and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, we received a report of a theft and disturbance at a premises in the Glasgow Road area of Dumbarton.
“Officers attended, and there were no serious injuries.
“Officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
A spokesperson for Morrisons said they were in contact with police to assist with enquiries.
A statement read: “We take this matter and the safety of our colleagues very seriously and do not tolerate any form of anti-social behaviour at Morrisons.”
