An investigation has been launched after a woman was sexually assaulted in Renfrewshire.
Police were called to reports of the attack on a 23-year-old woman near Clyde Street, Renfrew, on Monday.
Officers said enquiries into the incident were ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating a report of the sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman which occurred on Monday, May 2, 2022, near Clyde Street, Renfrew.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.”
