An investigation has been launched into the “unexplained” death of a man found at a property in Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to the Machan Road area of Larkhall at around 10.30am on Tuesday following reports of concern for a man.
Medical crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives are currently treating the incident as unexplained, and an investigation is ongoing.
Officers remain in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.30am on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, we were called to concern for a man in the Machan Road area of Larkhall.
“Emergency services attended however he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“Officers remain in the area and anyone with any information or concerns can speak with them.”
