Positive cases of coronavirus have been identified in three Glasgow schools.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently carrying out contact tracing at Dalmarnock Primary, St Martha’s Primary and Govan High School in the city.

Mossvale Primary in Renfrewshire has also had a positive case of the virus.

The news comes three days after transmission of the virus was found at both Lochend Community High School and Hutchesons’ Grammar School in Glasgow.

On Wednesday, restrictions were placed on people living in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire following an outbreak of cases.

Residents in these areas cannot host or visit other households indoors for at least two weeks.
