The Princess Royal will visit Glasgow on Thursday to view flowers left in tribute to her mother the Queen and meet mourners signing the book of condolence.
Anne, the Queen’s only daughter, will also meet representatives of organisations of which her mother was a patron.
Princess Anne, accompanied by her husband Sir Tim Laurence, will be met on Thursday afternoon by the Lord Provost councillor Jacqueline McLaren, in her capacity as Lord Lieutenant at 12.15pm.
She will be invited by the Lord Lieutenant to view flowers left in tribute at the front of the City Chambers.
The Lord Lieutenant will then accompany the Royal party into the City Chambers where they will be introduced to the leader of Glasgow City Council, councillor Susan Aitken; director of finance, Martin Booth; Lord Dean, May Storrie and deacon convener Bruce Reidford.
The Princess Royal will also meet representatives of Friends of Glasgow Cathedral, Glasgow Caledonian University, Royal British Legion of Scotland, YMCA, Royal Scottish Society of Arts, Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, Lambhill Stables and RSNO.
Her Royal Highness will later visit the Satinwood Suite where she will meet members of the public signing the book of condolence, in memory of Her Majesty the Queen.
