An investigation has been launched after a body was pulled from the water off the coast of a Hebridean island.
Emergency services were alerted to the discovery near to the Isle of Iona at around 1.45pm on Tuesday.
Police are now working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.45pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, we were made aware a body had been recovered off the coast of Iona.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
