Stephen Barnes via iStockAn investigation has been launched after possible human remains were found at a construction site in Renfrewshire on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to Paisley’s Orchard Street at around 12.40pm after the discovery.
Enquiries to establish the nature of the remains are still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, we were called to a report of possible human remains having been found at a construction site in the Orchard Street area of Paisley.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
