An investigation has been launched following the death of a baby boy who was taken to hospital.
On Tuesday, the child was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow from a property on Locksley Avenue in the Knightswood area of the city.
Police were notified of the three-month-old’s arrival at the hospital at around 5pm.
He died the following day.
Investigators are treating the death as unexplained. Enquiries into the death are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 we were made aware of a three-month-old boy having been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children from a property in Locksley Avenue, Glasgow
“The child later died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
