A restaurant in Glasgow has been forced to close following a fire.

Emergency services were called to The Finnieston Bar and Restaurant at around 5.04am on Sunday, August 14.

Three fire engines attended the venue on Argyle Street.

The road was closed following the incident, but was later reopened, with fire crews leaving the scene at 7.10am.

Police were also in attendance to assist.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.

On their Facebook page, the venue said that it had cancelled bookings and refunded deposits.

Customers have been invited to reschedule their bookings online.
