A busy road had to be closed for more than an hour on Wednesday after a two-car crash.
Two lanes of the M8 were closed to traffic westbound after the incident around 7am.
The closed lanes and Junction 15 and 16 were reopened again just before 8.30am.
However, Traffic Scotland have warned drivers travelling through the area to expect long delays.
Traffic remains slow back to Junction 8 at Baillieston.
