iStockA road has been closed in both directions after a crash involving two vehicles in South Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to Monktonhill Road in Troon following a collision around 9.45am on Sunday.
The road is closed from Isle of Pin Road to Southwood Road.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Monktonhill Road in Troon is closed in both directions following a two-vehicle crash that was reported around 9.45am on Sunday, August 24.
“The road is closed from Isle of Pin Road to Southwood Road.
“Drivers are asked to avoid the area.”
