Road closed in due to ongoing fire as drivers urged to avoid area

A road in Glasgow has been closed in both directions due to an ongoing fire.

Tollcross Road between Braidfauld Street and Corbett Street is currently closed to all traffic due to the blaze, Glasgow City Council confirmed on Friday.

Emergency services are on the scene.

Road users are advised to avoid the area and consider alternative routes.

Delays are to be expected.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
